Best Things to Do in Las Vegas This Weekend — Concerts, Shows & Pool Parties
May 2026
Beyond the slot machines: Vegas residencies, dayclub culture, F1, and the parts of the city locals actually love.
Residencies & Concerts
Adele at the Colosseum at Caesars. Usher at Dolby Live. Bruno Mars at Park MGM. The Killers, Carrie Underwood, John Legend — Vegas residencies have become some of the best shows in America. T-Mobile Arena hosts the biggest touring acts and the NHL's Golden Knights. Compare ticket prices across Ticketmaster, StubHub and SeatGeek on NearEvent.
Cirque du Soleil & Magic
O at Bellagio, Mystère at Treasure Island, Mad Apple at New York-New York. Six different Cirque shows. Penn & Teller at the Rio is the longest-running headliner residency in town. Book 1–2 weeks ahead for the best seats.
Pool Parties & Dayclubs
Encore Beach Club, Drai's, Marquee Dayclub, Wet Republic — Vegas dayclub culture is a season in itself. The DJ lineups in summer rival any festival in the world. Tao Beach is the newest and currently the hottest. Cabana day rates $500–2000; entry $50–100.
F1 & Sports
The Las Vegas Grand Prix in November is now a permanent fixture. The Raiders play 8 home games at Allegiant Stadium. The Aces (WNBA) play at Michelob Ultra Arena. UFC Fight Night and championship boxing land in town several times a year — check NearEvent for the next one.
Day Trip: Red Rock & Hoover Dam
Red Rock Canyon is 30 minutes from the Strip and unrecognizably different — desert hiking, the actual Mojave. The Hoover Dam and Lake Mead are an hour away. Bookable as half-day tours through GetYourGuide.
