The 20 Best Music Festivals in the USA for 2026 — Lineups, Dates & Tickets
May 2026
Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and 17 others — the only USA festival guide you need for 2026.
Coachella — Indio, CA (April)
Two weekends, mid-April. The biggest festival in America and arguably the most influential globally. 2026 lineup tends to drop in early January. Tickets ~$549 for the 3-day GA pass + camping, with payment plans available. Hotels in Palm Springs or Indio sell out 6 months in advance — plan early on NearEvent.
Bonnaroo — Manchester, TN (June)
Four days on a 700-acre farm. Camping festival, more rock and jam-band than Coachella. The atmosphere is famously friendly. ~$400 4-day pass. Fly into Nashville (75 min drive) — most Bonnaroo trips bundle 1–2 Nashville days on either side.
Lollapalooza — Chicago, IL (August)
Four days in Grant Park, downtown Chicago. The most central festival of any major US fest — you can stay at a normal hotel. ~$400 4-day pass. Aftershows around the city run nightly with major headliners playing 800-cap clubs.
Austin City Limits — Austin, TX (October)
Two weekends in Zilker Park. Less hype than Coachella, lineup just as strong. Austin in October is perfect weather. ~$350 3-day pass.
Outside Lands — San Francisco, CA (August)
Three days in Golden Gate Park. The Bay Area's flagship festival. The food and wine scene at OSL is famously good — Wine Lands and the cheese cave are festival institutions. ~$450 3-day pass.
Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) — Las Vegas, NV (May)
The biggest electronic music festival in North America. Three nights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, 7pm–5am. Pair with a Vegas hotel stay for the wildest week of the year. ~$425 3-day pass.
Ultra — Miami, FL (March)
Three days at Bayfront Park. Electronic music's global flagship. Miami Music Week runs the entire week around Ultra — every major DJ plays smaller pool parties and club shows around the city.
Stagecoach — Indio, CA (April)
Country music's answer to Coachella, on the same fields the weekend after. Three days, ~$450 GA pass. The biggest names in country music plus Americana and roots crossover.
Governor's Ball — New York, NY (June)
Three days, Flushing Meadows Park (Queens). NYC's flagship festival. ~$330 3-day pass. Easier logistics than any other major US festival — subway from anywhere in the city.
Rolling Loud — Miami, FL (July)
Hip-hop's biggest festival. Three days at Hard Rock Stadium. The most-talked-about lineup of any festival year after year. ~$450 GA pass.
How to Save 30% on Festival Tickets
Buy on payment plans (most fests now offer 4–6 month installments). Watch for early-bird Tier 1 prices — usually $100+ cheaper than GA. Avoid resale platforms unless the festival is sold out. NearEvent tracks price changes across official + resale and alerts you when a drop happens. Set a price alert for any festival you're considering and we'll watch the market for you.
